Taxidermy is owned and operated by D. & Desiree Price. Our studio
is conveniently located in Eastern Wake County, just a short drive from
Raleigh, Rocky Mount, Wake Forest and Zebulon, North Carolina.
The mission of Outback Taxidermy is to provide you, the client, with a memory that will last you a lifetime. Our goal is to preserve your trophy in the most life-like recreation possible. We use only the most state of the art supplies and high quality commercially tanned skins on our projects. We have been actively involved in the taxidermy industry since my days starting out as an apprentice at Carolina Fur Dressing in Raleigh, NC in 1986. We have seen many changes and by attending taxidermy workshops at Piedmont Community College in Roxboro, NC and Surry Community College in Dobson, NC, we are able to learn the latest techniques and products on the market. By attending conventions and learning from the world's top taxidermists, we can apply all of their knowledge into our services.
